WEST WINDSOR — A man who said he was shot while urinating on the side of a highway was not cooperative with officers trying to investigate the incident.

According to police, officers were sent to Capital Health Medical Center Fuld Campus on Friday on a report of a shooting victim. Officers at the hospital were told that the man claimed to have been urinating on the northbound side of Route 1 when he "heard a loud noise, looked at his arm, and realized he had been shot."

At the hospital, police said the man was not cooperative and did not provide much additional information. Despite his lack of cooperation, police continue to investigate.
