New Jersey, we've made it mid-week! You're bound to hear about Jon Stewart (lately focused on his Colts Neck farm) making a return visit to Stephen Colbert. There's also some exciting summer music tour news across New Jersey.

Plus, Bob Dylan is paying tribute to one of New Jersey's favorite sons, 'Ol' Blue Eyes,' yet again.

New Jersey's own Jon Stewart on Tuesday paid another visit to "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," saying he had a sneak peek at President Trump's next executive orders. The retired Daily Show host joked that Trump will order China to send us 'their wall' to use at the border with Mexico. Noting the President's flurry of executive actions, Stewart called Trump 'exhausting' and joked that "the presidency is supposed to age the President, not the public."

Peter Frampton and the Steve Miller Band are kicking off a summer tour in NJThey start out at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel on June 15. They also play Philadelphia at the Mann Center on June 27. Both artists- alongside Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers- will play Mountain Jam festival in June at Hunter Mountain, NY.

Bob Dylan is staying in touch with his inner New Jersey crooner. Dylan is putting out another set of Frank Sinatra standards. 'Triplicate' will come out March 31. The three-CD set follows last year's 'Fallen Angels' and 2015's 'Shadows in the Night'.

He's still suiting up as Batman, but Ben Affleck has stepped down as director of 'The Batman.' That's the solo caped crusader movie underway by Warner Brothers. NJ native director Kevin Smith quickly shut down fan suggestions that he should direct the film.

Faith Hill and country star hubby Tim McGraw are coming around on tour this year. Their opening acts include a rising star with NJ ties. Maggie Rose will play at their Philly show in August. Before landing a deal, Rose played lots of gigs with Bruce Springsteen tribute band, B Street Band.

Proud Jersey Girl Erin Vogt’s first reporting gig involved her Fisher Price tape recorder. As a wife and momma of two kiddies, she firmly believes that life’s too short to drink bad coffee.  A fan of the beach, Dave Grohl and karma, in no particular order.
