Neptune man charged with using phony prescriptions to get pain medicine
A Neptune man is facing charges for getting the pain medicine known as Tramadol by using phony prescriptions.

Police in Monmouth' s Ocean Township say 55-year old Darryl Merritt was the focus of a six-month probe into allegations he illegally received the medicine from three local pharmacies.
Merritt allegedly committed two of those acts in Neptune Township and the third in Ocean Township.
He faces seven counts of obtaining CDS fraudulently and was released on a summons awaiting a future court appearance.
