Millstone woman goes off on police at traffic stop in Ocean Township, New Jersey
She was apparently so appalled at seeing her husband arrested for driving under the influence and with a suspended license, that a Millstone woman allegedly began kicking, hitting and cursing at police in Ocean Township.
Stanley Majka, 50, went quietly after being pulled over on Route 35 but his wife Jennifer, 48, became irate, Ocean Police said when they began to interact with her, yelling obscenities and then struck an officer.
She then resisted arrested and multiple officers had to come in to help deescalate the situation.
When she was arrested and in the patrol car in handcuffs, Jennifer then tried kicking the windows and protective bars of the vehicle.
Both Majka's were brought to police headquarters where they were processed and later released.
Stanley was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Driving with a Suspended Driver’s License and various related motor vehicle violations.
Jennifer was charged with Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct and Obstructing the Administration of Law.
Both now await their initial court appearances.
