Three people are arrested and found in possession of heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop around 12:40 am Monday on the Black Horse Pike near English Creek Avenue.

James Johnson, 44, of Sarasota, FL, Kevin Thomas, 21, Hamilton Township, NJ and Crystal Kilkenney, 35, of West Chester, PA were all arrested following the motor vehicle stop in the Cardiff Section of Egg Harbor Township.

In addition to the narcotics police also found items from an Absecon car burglary allegedly committed hours earlier on Sunday July 16.

Thomas is being charged with possession of heroin, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic needles, receiving stolen property and hindering his own apprehension.

Johnson is being charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic needles, receiving stolen property and motor vehicle charges.

Kilkenny is charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic needles and receiving stolen property.

Thomas is also facing charges for allegedly committing three additional car burglaries that happened  in Egg Harbor Township in January.

All three suspects were released on summons and await a future day in court on the charges.
