Three knocks on the door from three court-authorized narcotics search warrants result in three drug busts by the Middle Township police Community-Street Crimes Unit this month when they teamed up with the Cape May County Regional SWAT Team.

Two people were found in possession of crack-cocaine, heroin, prescription medications and about $600-dollars in cash at the Wildwood Park Motel December 7.

William Reid, 53, of Burleigh and Catherine Panczenr, 48, of Cold Springs were charged with the possession and possession with intent to distribute controlled dangerous substances and then released on their own recognizance.

Two more people were placed in handcuffs at an East Main Street home in the 100 block in the Edgewood Section of town on possession and distribution charges on Tuesday of this week.'

James "Shakey" Powell, 39, of Edgewood and Dana Robinson-Powell, 38, of Edgewood were found in possession of cocaine, marijuana and prescription medication.

They're being charged with the possession and possession with intent to distribute controlled dangerous substances and were released on their own recognizance.

On Wednesday of this week two more people were arrested when police made a return trip to the Wildwood Park Motel.

Lance Boyd, 27, of Burleigh was charged with possession and possession with intent to distribute controlled dangerous substances after police found him with cocaine, ecstacy, and prescription medication.

He was released on his own recognizance.

At the same time, police arrested Jerry Winston, 23, of Burleigh on an outstanding arrest warrant from another jurisdiction.
