Ryan J. Stemetzki, 25, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child, two counts in the second degree and one in the third degree, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina.

The Prosecutor's High-Tech Crimes Unit got word in February of suspected online activities tied to Stemetzki's house. Investigators today seized a computer and two cell phones, asserting that Stemetzki shared online images of a pre-pubescent girl in a sex act.

Stemetzki was retained in the Burlington County Jail to await a court appearance. Coffina said that the case will be presented to a grand jury for possible indictment.

The arrest was conducted by members of the Prosecutor's Office, Maple Shade police, the New Jersey State Police and the state Parole Board.

The case was investigated by Detective Kevin Sobotka of the Burlington County High-Tech Crimes Unit, which collaborates with the State Police Internet Crimes Against Children and Cyber Terrorism Task Forces.

Burlington County Assistant Prosecutor Stephen Eife of the Sexual Assault/Child Abuse Unit conducts the state's case. Coffina's office did not reveal whether Stemetzki has legal representation.

Charges are accusations. Defendants are presumed innocent unless, and until, found guilty in a court of law.
