POINT PLEASANT — An arrest was made in a series of incidents in which a man exposed himself to underage girls.

Joseph D. Perello, 24, of Point Pleasant was arrested and charged for exposing himself to five girls since the beginning of the year during four incidents on February 16, February 23, April 4 and August 1, according to Point Pleasant Police.

In the most recent incident at the beginning of August, police said Perello exposed himself to two 12-year-old girls walking together.

Perello is charged with five counts of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child, three counts of fourth-degree lewdness, and two disorderly persons counts.

He was released pending his first appearance in Ocean County Superior Court.
