When I was a kid, I loved to read the Harry Potter series.

I wasn’t too big on reading back then, but their magical world had me hooked from the first page! I’ll never forget imagining myself in the place of Hermione Granger, and letting my imagination run wild through the pages.

The books were released at just the right time for my age, and I completely associate my childhood with that series.

My cousins and I all read the books together, and we always ran around with branches as wands, pretending to cast spells on our vegetables in hopes to turn them into chocolate.

All five of us went to Universal Studios last year for vacation, and lit up when we stumbled upon the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Instantly, we were little kids again.

Those books and movies were a big part of my childhood, and I still love them just as much!

Childhood stories are so much more than pages between a book. They bring back the innocent and imaginative feelings of being a kid again.

What about your kids? Don’t forget to share with them the classic story of the Berenstain Bears coming up at the Strand Theatre in Lakewood. Relive your childhood over again!
