Local Authors Are “Shore” to Please

On this week's edition of "Townsquare Tonight," both of them said the area is a constant source of inspiration.

"So much of what I write is inspired by my own upbringing in Jersey," Smith said.  "By the people I've met, by the vast variety of energy and background."

Readers might find Wieczorek's influences a little more obvious.

"My first [book] is a Young Adult novella of the Zomie Apocalypse hitting, of all places, New Jersey," Wieczorek said.  "It started at a college that was inspired by Monmouth University."

Karen Victoria Smith is the author of  the vampire thriller Dark Dealingsand the operator of Three Worlds Press.
