Early forecasts for Tuesday call for some light snow on Tuesday but an exact track has yet to be determined.

National Weather Service forecasts call for below normal temperatures on Tuesday and the possibility for some light snow in northern areas of New Jersey with rain for the rest of the state.

Forecasters are watching the track of the next storm to determine if the snow line moves south.

If the storm tracks closer to the coast it would mean the rain mixes with snow on Tuesday afternoon and turns to all snow Tuesday night before ending on Wednesday morning with more snow accumulating inland.

No watches or warnings are yet in place for Tuesday.

Temperatures are expected to stay below normal for most of the week.
