We are going to be dealing with a nasty nor'easter at the Jersey Shore over the weekend. Here's the latest on what we can expect.

Our meteorologist Dan Zarrow says we're obviously in for some rain and wind, but just how much of both? Here's the breakdown.

Timing. Dan thinks the worst of the storm will affect us from about 2:00am through about 10:00am Saturday morning, so basically overnight tonight into mid morning.

Coastal Flood Warning. It's in effect in Monmouth & Ocean Counties. Widespread moderate flooding is expected during Saturday morning's high tide cycle.

Wind Advisory. In effect in both Monmouth & Ocean Counties from 2:00am Saturday until noon Saturday with sustained winds of 20-30mph and gusts of 50mph possible.

Amount of Rain. We could see 1 to 2+ inches of rain and a 2 foot storm surge from this nor'easter.

Any leftover rain should be gone by tomorrow evening and Sunday should be a day that actually features some sunshine.
