Mashon Wilson is believed to be tied to a rash of burglaries in the Stirling Forest neighborhood, according to township police who arrested him Tuesday after finding evidence from an overnight burglary reported at a Hadassah Lane synagogue.

The probe into the thefts has progressed over four months, police said. Lakewood Special Response Team operatives and detectives searched Wilson's Lynn Court home, where they reported found evidence tying him to seven commercial and synagogue burglaries reported from October 24 until the present.

Investigators also connected Wilson to several early-November car burglaries that were reported on Empire Lane and Trudy Lane.

Charges are accusations. Defendants are presumed innocent unless, and until, found guilty in a court of law.
