Lakewood man faces lewdness charge in Brick Township

A Lakewood man, accused of fondling himself inside his car in Brick Township, awaits a hearing in municipal court there.

Aaron S. Gut, 26, was charged after the alleged incident at midday on November 9, near the Brick Civic Plaza.

Police said that they fielded a report at about 11:30 AM. The caller relayed Gut's license plate number to responding officers and indicated that he had driven north on Chambersbridge. Gut was later charged by officers who continued the investigation.

Police did not elaborate on whether Gut was arrested on the same day of the alleged incident. He posted $1,000 bail.
