The arrest of 47-year old Michael Ford follows a month-long sting into possible drug distribution.

Lakehurst Police executed a search warrant on April 3 around 8:53 pm and found 45-wax folds of heroin, 79-vials of cocaine, a plastic bottle with an unknown amount of PCP inside and several hypodermic needles in his hotel room.

Ford was detained at the scene before being brought to police headquarters for processing.

He's charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Heroin, Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine, Possession of Heroin, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of PCP and Possession of a Hypodermic Needle.

Ford was issued a warrant by police for the charges and transported to Ocean County Jail where he was lodged, pending a mandatory court appearance with Ocean County Superior Court.

Lakehurst Police were assisted by Ocean County Sheriff's Department K-9 Corporal Theodore Wielichoski and his partner K-9 Sheba.

The public is reminded that all criminal charges are merely accusations and all subjects are innocent until proven guilty.
