In pictures posted on the Ocean County Police Blotter Facebook page, Snooki flew over her "second home" in a black helicopter. The page's owners posted that  the flyover "was a private commercial charter paid for by 495 productions, the producers of Jersey Shore" for an upcoming  fundraiser to benefit Sandy relief efforts.

"Nobody from the cast was 'granted access' to the island. they flew over filming," posted the administrator while pointing out that" Jenni (JWOW) lives in Toms River and her home also was gutted during the storm."

"Are you kidding me! We have to be bused in like cattle to see our homes for 2 hours and she who has done nothing to help our community but give it a bad name is allowed to go and look!" posted Mary-Jo Scuderi Nicholson, the sentiment of most who commented on the pictures.

Administrators, who posted the photos Saturday morning without explanation, posted a second time to explain the circumstances of the flyover.  Comments then turned supportive of the cast's efforts to help Seaside Heights. " "I think it's great that they're doing a fundraiser!" posted Kathleen Hunter-Streck

" I saw one of them at the Silverton Fire Dept in Toms River yesterday helping out. They are doing it low key and NOT for publicity. maybe if people weren't so stuck up about a TELEVISION SHOW they would realize it doesnt matter WHO is helping- we need the help from anyone and everyone! BRING ON PARIS HILTON for all I care!" posted Chelsea Argast.

The fundraiser will air on Thursday on MTV to benefit Architecture for Humanity, which helps with construction and fundraising for communities impacted by the superstorm, the telecast will feature not only members of the cast, but a whole slew of celebrity guests.
