ASBURY PARK —Two sharks have made late-night visits to the Jersey Shore.

Two white sharks named Finn and Amagansett tagged by OCREACH have been spending time in the Atlantic in recent days.

Amagansett was tagged on Aug. 17 in the water off Long Island and settled due east of Barnegat Light as of its last ping. According to its profile, she was named as a "thank you" to the town that played host to OCREACH this summer.

OCREACH said the 91 pound, five-foot shark has spent nine days in the area.

Finn is also a newcomer that traveled a zig-zag pattern from Long Island and settled due east of Asbury Park.

Both sharks are staying well off the coast line and no swimmers come in contact wit them.

OCREACH's first shark claim to fame was Mary Lee, which made several trips to the shore over the past three years. Her latest sighting was in May.
