Ice Cream or Italian Ice?

It's HOT out there and everyone is looking for ways to cool down!  With that being said, what is a better way of cooling off than with a delicious frozen treat?  There seem to be two schools of though when it comes to these cold snacks: ice cream and Italian ice.  Which do you prefer?

If you prefer one over the other, why?  What flavor do you like best?
