Howell Police Locate Missing Autistic Teen
Howell Police have located an autistic teen who went missing on Saturday morning.
A number of law enforcement agencies were searching for the 16-year-old boy, who is an avid runner, went for a jog near Howell High School but may have run into an unfamiliar area and got lost according to the Monmouth County Police, Fire an EMS Facebook page.
Their efforts are focused on a 6 square mile area around Howell High School that is mostly wooded.
Howell Police set up a command post at the high school and are used K9 units in their search. Helicopters will also be used according to the Asbury Park Press.
