We are going to have some snow in the area this weekend, so who will get it, and just how much? Here's the latest update.

We checked in with our Chief Meteorologist Dan Zarrow to get the very latest update on this weekend storm, and here's what he's saying.

Saturday afternoon snow starts...but the snow will quickly change over to rain in the overnight hours.

Sunday morning...rain could be heavy, but then in the late morning, the transition begins, changing it back to snow. By the afternoon hours, it all tapers off.

Accumulations? No more than an inch or two across Monmouth & Ocean Counties.

Icing is possible. There will be a sharp drop in the temperature Sunday and Monday meaning there is a real chance of icing and flash freezing in the area.

Extreme cold. Monday morning's wind chill could make it feel like anywhere from 5 to 15 degrees below zero.

So, let's all get ready for a bit of a winter weather roller coaster for the Jersey Shore in the next 96 hours, and remember you can stay updated on the very latest by downloading the free 94.3 The Point App.
