How to keep mosquitoes at bay:

Fill a spray bottle with 1 cup of witch hazel and 20 drops of peppermint essential oil, then spray yourself and your outdoor furniture.  The two scents mixed together will overwhelm the bugs and they will stay away.

How to peel away price stickers:

Have glasses or any container with price stickers on them that won't go away?

All you need to do is saturate a cotton ball with witch hazel and hold it on the sticker for 20 seconds.  The astringent witch hazel will break down the stickers' bonding agents so the paper comes off cleanly.

How to freshen up your home naturally:

Give your home a pleasant scent without using chemicals by using 1/2 cup of witch hazel, 1 cup of water and 15 drops of your favorite essential oil in a spray bottle and spray around the house.  Witch hazel kills odor causing bacteria while the essential oil scents your home.
