Helpful Hints – Save Money On Your Water Bill!

Check out Marianne's Helpful Hints on saving water and money:

• Your toilet might be leaking: take the top off the tank; drop a few drops of food coloring and let sit overnight without using; if there is color in your bowl the next morning, you have a leak and should have the rubber flapper replaced
• For drippy sinks: tie a piece of cloth or yarn around faucet so you don't hear the drip; this is a temporary fix until you get it fixed
• Remove food coloring from your fingers: put 2 tablespoons of salt in bowl; add enough vinegar to make a paste; rub mixture over stained fingers and wash off
