Marianne has some great Helpful Hints for leftover food:

  • How to cut a bell pepper - In half, slice off the bottom half of the pepper leaving the top in tact; this will allow the excess pepper to stay fresher longer
  • The perfect way to reheat meat - put in metal pan & cover with lettuce; broil for 2 minutes
  • Portion your pasta - measure pasta using an empty spice jar with 1 inch diameter; this is a perfect portion for 2 people
