A Hazlet man whose allegedly been dealing drugs out of his home at 281 Middle Road is facing additional charges for doing so down the road from a school and the police department.

Keith Hoffman, 56, his tenant Timothy Urbealis, 44, and two others face a number of combined drug charges after police found heroin, prescription pills and drug paraphernalia in the home following a two-month probe.

"Let this be a message to the persons who think their going to sell drugs in Hazlet and get away with it," Deputy Chief Ted Wittke said in a press release. "We will not tolerate this sort of behavior."

Hoffman is charged with Possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute, Possession with intent to distribute in a school zone, two counts of Possession of a controlled dangerous substance, Possession of drug paraphernalia and Possession of a hypodermic syringe.

Urbealis is charged with Possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute, Possession with intent to distribute in a school zone, four counts of Possession of a controlled dangerous substance, Tampering with evidence, Possession of drug paraphernalia and Possession of Hypodermic syringe.

Ilisa Micciuli, 41, Hazlet, is charged with Possession of a controlled dangerous substance, Possession of drug paraphernalia and Possession of hypodermic syringe.

Robert Cifuentes, 32, Keyport, is charged with Possession of drug paraphernalia.

Hoffman, Urbealis, Micciuli and Cifuentes were released on their own recognizance.
