He was born in Pittsburgh, but for a time he lived in Englewood, New Jersey. Meet GEORGE BENSON, multiple Grammy Winner. He made his first record at the age of eleven under the name "Little George Benson." He then recorded with a doo wop group called The Altairs before turning his focus to jazz. Among his biggest hits are "This Masquerade," "On Broadway," "The Greatest Love of All," "Turn Your Love Around," "Breezin'," and "Give Me the Night." Benson is 74 today, and is one of the nicest people in the business.
