The former head of the Rumson Fair Haven Touchdown Club has been charged with stealing more than $25,000.00 from the volunteer organization between April 2017 and July 2018, announced Monmouth County Prosecutor Chris Gramiccioni.

Sean Greeley, 57, of Rumson, is charged with one count of third degree Theft.

He faces up to five years in a New Jersey state prison.

Greeley was charged on Wednesday of this week following an investigation that began in August of 2018.

Prosecutors say that Greeley stole over $25,000.00 from the 501(C) 3 organization for his personal use.

As president, he had control of all of the club’s accounts.

Greeley's alleged theft included unauthorized debit card transactions from the club’s bank account.
