A family of six was displaced when a fire broke out in their Jersey Shore apartment building.

Asbury Park officials say no injuries were reported in the fire at the two-story building, which broke out just before 11 a.m. Sunday. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation, but authorities told the Asbury Park Press that they were trying to determine if an unattended candle sparked the fire.

One unit in the Second Avenue building was declared uninhabitable, while two others were slightly damaged. Officials say the displaced family — a couple with four young children — planned to temporarily stay with relatives.

The building's other residents will be allowed to remain in their units.
