Olusani Selete, 53, last known to have a Brooklyn, NY address, was apprehended October 22 in the aftermath of the crash on Bennetts Mills Road, police said.

According to authorities, Selete handed officers a Florida driver's license that proved to be untraceable in their databases. They subsequently concluded that the license was fictitious, along with the name he provided, and the social security card he produced.

Selete was charged with possession and exhibition of false government documents, hindering apprehension, driving with a suspended license and failure to maintain a lane of travel. His bail was set at $15,000.
