A man police say caused a fatal accident when he drove the wrong way on the Massachusetts Turnpike is facing drunken driving and vehicular homicide charges for the death of a Toms River woman.

Authorities say 33-year-old Dwayne Blackman of Leominster, Massachusetts remains hospitalized following the crash at about 4:30 a.m. Sunday in Auburn that took the life of 66-year-old Kathleen Borngesser.

The Telegram & Gazette reports that Blackman will be arraigned at a future date.
