Diane found a cool idea in a recipe book for peaches on the grill. We picked some up while we were shopping and got ready to give it a try.

First I loaded the corn on the cob basket for the grill (thank you Bed, Bath and Beyond) then I filled the vegetable basket (also Bed, Bath and Beyond) and got those started. The recipe called for the peaches to be sliced and cinnamon sprinkled on it. Then we realized the peaches weren’t ripe and we made the mistake of substituting apricots. Three words…hot sticky mess.

They stuck to the grill and whatever didn’t basically turned to liquid. Clearly I messed something up. We won’t try that again. I do like the idea of grilling fruit, so let me know what works best. Leave your suggestions or ideas in the comment section. Thanks!
