Commuter trains on NJ Transit's Northeast Corridor and North Jersey Coast Line were running up to an hour behind schedule in and out of New York City.

Midtown Direct trains were directed earlier to Hoboken but have since resumed normal service.

Buses and PATH are honoring rail tickets. NJ Transit tells the Asbury  Park Press they are unsure as to how long the delay will last.
