Nor'easter #4 left most of us with big snow totals and plenty of digging out to do before we can even start thinking spring.

So, what are the conditions as we wake up from what we can only hope is the last significant winter weather we deal with this year here at the Jersey Shore? Here's a quick look before you even think of venturing out.

Roads. Most of the main roads have been plowed and treated and are in pretty good shape considering all that snow, but reports of scattered downed wires and slippery, sloppy conditions should make you hesitate about traveling if you don't have to . The secondary roads, however, are reportedly a mess early this morning.

Totals. Some of the snow totals locally are pretty jaw dropping even though our meteorologist Dan Zarrow told us yesterday that pocket of our area would see 12+ inches.  Two examples...in Monmouth County Freehold checks in at 13 inches, and in Ocean County, Bayville saw 13.5 inches.

Plowed in. The biggest issue we've heard this morning is that area residents are plowed in. No surprise here, since the roads need to be cleared, but it doesn't make getting out of your driveway any more pleasant.

Is it over? We may see some snow showers throughout the morning today and it could be windy, but for the most part, the damage is already done.

Closings. Yes, many schools and organizations have kept things shut down today, and others have delayed their openings. Get up to the minute info with Point Stormwatch.
