Just hours following a reported bank robbery at the Manasquan Savings Bank at 24 Princeton Avenue came the arrest of the suspect, 41-year old Brooks Henderson III of Cherry Hill who was charged with robbery.

The robbery occurred just before noon on November 22, when police had issued a lookout alert to neighboring towns looking for a white male, 6’3, dirty blonde hair, bandage under left eye, mid 50’s, wearing a black jacket with hood, who also allegedly drives a Ford F-150.

Around 3:30 pm officers from the Ocean County Sheriffs Department located the vehicle on Glenwood Avenue in Point Pleasant where along with Point Pleasant and Brick Township Police set up a perimeter before the OCSD Swat Team made entry into the home, according to police.

Henderson was transported to the Brick Township Police Department, before being moved to the Ocean County Jail.

The incident remains under investigation and police are asking anyone with information on the robbery to contact Detectives at (732)262-1122.
