One of the great things about the Jersey Shore is how much rich history surrounds us, and there are some great stories behind some of our legendary buildings.

Today, we are going to give you a little Jersey Shore Building Quiz. We will give you some facts, dates or names about a historic building at the Jersey Shore and we'll see if you can identify that building.

Here are three clues about the building in the spotlight today...

(1) It was a receiving station for the British Royal Navy During World War II. One of the soldiers stationed there was legendary actor Sir Alec Guinness (Ben Obi-Wan Kenobi, Star Wars, 1977) .

(2) Date clue...July 9, 1989, the night a big event at this legendary location.

(3) Number clue...This building contains 254 rooms.

That last clue should really narrow it down, right? We think it does. So put all those clues together and come up with your best answer and let us know what it is. We'll publish the correct answer soon, and give more amazing details about what's going on at this building these days, too!
