A Burlington Township man who murdered a Willingboro convenience store clerk on November 25, 2015 has plead guilty in Superior Court to First Degree Aggravated Manslaughter.

33-year old Eramus Canty admitted to shooting 42-year old Matthew Mwinsori at a 'Quick-N-Go' in the 100 block of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard that November, according to the Burlington County Prosecutors Office.

At his March sentencing date, Canty's prison term will be decided by a judge from his guilty plea.

Canty told the Judge Haines he went inside the store to rob Mwinsori, and then Mwinsori chased him out of the store into the parking lot, where Canty shot him following a struggle.

He was arrested without incident December 19, 2015 by police officers in Asbury Park.
