Tifani Young, Jr., 22, of Pemberton, was found guilty of witness tampering and robbery, along with a second-degree conspiracy count, according to the office of Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina.

He is being held in the County Jail until his scheduled July 6 sentencing date.

Kavon Carter, 19, of Lumberton, and Tayron Brown, 20, of Edgwater Park, previously pleaded guilty to roles in the robbery of a gas station attendant in Mount Holly in 2015.

On May 2, Carter was given an eight-year sentence for weapons and drug charges. Brown was sentenced to seven years for robbery and weapons charges.

All three are attached to the Gotti Boy Movement (GBM), authorities said.

Investigators said that Young was the getaway driver for Carter and Brown, who demanded the keys to the gas station safe while holding the employee at gunpoint.

Finding that he had none, Carter and Brown walked to his house with him, and were chased away by family members there, authorities said, adding that the gun was recovered during their arrest a short time afterward.

Burlington County Assistant Prosecutor Michael Angermeier presented the state's case. Detective Tim Van Fossen of the Prosecutor's Office led the investigation, which entailed Mount Holly, Pemberton and New Jersey State Police, and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
