James Brown, 35, and Shakima Reeves, 35, of Brick were apprehended Thursday night in the Schindler Drive house, along with Jessie May Elliott, 59, of Lakewood, after what police said was a probe that lasted several months.

Detectives, brandishing a search warrant, said they seized about 30 grams of crack cocaine, more than an ounce of marijuana, a substance believed to be Molly and cash.

Members of the Brick PD Drug Enforcement Unit and Special Emergency Response Team conducted the arrests.

Brown and Reeves were charged with six counts possession- and distribution-related counts. Elliott faces two possession charges. Brown was remanded to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River. Reeves and Elliott were released until court appearance dates.

Charges are accusations. Defendants are presumed innocent unless, and until, found guilty in a court of law.
