Sadly, there's reportedly a Jersey shore connection to a plane crash tragedy in Maryland. A mother, killed with her two children, when the plane slammed into their Gaithersburg, Maryland home just before 11 a.m. Monday, was originally from Brick Township. NBC10.com reports that 36-year-old Marie Gemmelle, who was on the second floor, cradling her two boys when the plane hit, graduated from Brick Memorial High School in 1997. All three people aboard the jet also died.
