Belmar Man Charged With Stealing From Employer

A 31-year-old Belmar man remains behind bars, accused of stealing items from his former boss and trying to sell the goods to a pawn shop.  Reports say Todd Kane was let go from his job the day before.  He's accused of taking items from a work trailer including blowers and chainsaws.  Kane was also charged back in October for stealing jewelry from the parents of his ex-girlfriend.  Bail is at $40,000.
