An overturned vehicle in Stafford Wednesday around 10:22 am looked pretty bad but fortunately the Barnegat man driving it sustained only minor and non-life threatening injuries.

Police say 81-year old Patrick Soricello was heading south in a 2017 white Cadillac SUV on Nautilus Drive near Windlass Drive when he drifted onto the shoulder and hit a parked car, which caused his vehicle to rotate and flip over.

Soricello was wearing his seat belt in the vehicle when emergency services arrived to safely assist him out.

He was airlifted to Atlantic City Trauma center for his injuries by MONOC-1, which are described as minor and non-life threatening.

Soricello’s passenger was transported to Southern Ocean Medical center for minor injuries sustained.

This collision is under investigation by Officer Justin Pascale.
