I found this story from ABC News quite upsetting. Unless you have a special needs child you'll never understand. I don't have a special needs child but have friends who do so I know what they have to deal with on a day to day basis and God Bless them.

Over the past few years Autism has gotten to be a common word.  Let's say you're in the grocery store and there is a Mom shopping with her child and that child is screaming or acting out in some way. Most of us would look over and say to themselves "can't she control that child, I can't believe they let him do that."  I think we all have to step back a little and think maybe there is a problem.  Some will say then leave the child home - well maybe they don't have anyone to leave them with, maybe they can't afford someone who is qualified to stay with them and maybe they just want this child to be a part of life.

With everything going on in the world this should be the least of our problems. If you have a healthy child you have everything period.
