If you have no interest whatsoever in the NCAA Basketball Tournament then you’ve likely have had enough of hearing about “March Madness.” However for those of us that do love this 3-week odyssey I can only tell you that the first few days were indeed maddening.
There’s a pretty decent chance that wherever you work there is some type of office pool involving the NCAA Basketball Tournament which officially began last night but really doesn’t count until tomorrow for those playing in a pool...
Earlier in the week several of us in the office had a conversation in which I expressed my feelings that I find it wrong that so many don’t recognize the basic differences between men and women. I’m not talking about the obvious but rather how we act and react to things which I find as totally normal.
It is better than gulping 5-Hour Energy or getting a B12 shot. Simply a natural way to get you up and moving and we got our first dose yesterday. It is simply amazing what a nice day or two or even three can do for you as all of a sudden you have a bounce in your step after months of seemingly shuffling your feet.
There is no worse time of year to be a high school athlete then in the spring and that season officially begins today. Yes today (with snow on the ground) is the first day of practice for baseball, softball, lacrosse, track, golf and boy’s tennis...all outdoor sports.
