I want to follow up on yesterday’s segment about how small gestures of kindness can make such a big difference. I received a lot of feedback from listeners and readers about suggestions like opening the door for others or showing courtesy for other drivers on the roadways. It’s those little things that are often greatly appreciated.
There’s no doubt tonight’s football game between Toms River North and Middletown South is big, especially to the players and coaches and all of those associated with the football programs and the schools themselves.
13-year old Ryan Dean took on a special project tied in with the recent celebration of his Bar Mitzvah. This Sunday he hopes it will result in a successful fundraiser for a cause that is near and dear to him.
It was two weeks ago that I told you about the JBJ Soul Kitchen which is part of the B.E.A.T. Center on Hooper Avenue in Toms River. The community restaurant serves paying customers and those who are in-need and it’s open for dinner Wednesday through Saturday and serves a Sunday brunch.
Anytime there is a discussion centered on who or what is the best or greatest in any category it’s sure to spark a debate. Whether it’s movies, music, presidents, quarterbacks, you name it you can find yourself in a pretty lively discussion trying to defend your opinion of the GOAT (greatest of all time).
Some days I just don’t have much to say. Today is one of those days. That’s not actually true as my co-workers will tell you I always have a lot to say. It’s just that right now as my fingers tap the keyboard of my computer I really don’t have anything specific to share with you.

Yes the state of Vermont along with the cities of Phoenix and Denver are the latest to change the second Monday of October to one not celebrating the Italian explorer but rather Native Americans. Just thought I would throw that out there.
