He began singing doo wops, but found his greatest success as a solo performer. Asbury Park native LENNY WELCH is 79 today and still going strong. He recorded "A Taste of Honey" before the Beatles and Herb Albert. His biggest hit is "Since I Fell For You" - a Top Three smash in 1963.
