Today would have been the 83rd birthday of actress Rue McClanahan. She's being remembered and honored in a big way at the new 'Rue La Rue Cafe' in Manhattan.

Located at 4394 Broadway, it's a place you might enjoying visiting next time you're taking in a matinee. The eatery salutes the Fab Four of the silver-haired set with over 300 pieces of memorabilia including McClanahan's 1987 Emmy Award for her portrayal of bawdy and man-crazy Blanche Deveraux.

Included are numerous costumes from the long-running series, countless cast photos, tchotchkes, and souvenir items. Oh, and course, there's cheesecake. Expect to hear the theme song "Thank You for Being a Friend," too!
