Some days I just don’t have much to say. Today is one of those days.  That’s not actually true as my co-workers will tell you I always have a lot to say.  It’s just that right now as my fingers tap the keyboard of my computer I really don’t have anything specific to share with you.

Of course I could always bring up Trump, Hillary, Billy Bush or Ken Boone (he’s the key in the red sweater from the debate Sunday who has become an overnight sensation).

I could kill a couple of minutes talking about Governor Christie, the gas tax, the whole-clown fiasco or a number of other news-worthy items.  I could address the fact that Colin Kapernick is the 49ers’ starting quarterback again.  He’s the guy who started the “kneeling during the National Anthem” protest and he’ll play for the first time Sunday against Buffalo.  If San Francisco is winning and running out the clock in the final minutes will he take a knee and stay that way?  Only time will tell.

Being a sports fan I could always fall back on that.  Did you know the hockey season starts tonight?  It does but the local NHL teams don’t hit the ice until later in the week and you don’t care anyway.  Baseball season is over as most Met and Yankee fans don’t really care about the playoffs and Phillie fans turned off baseball in June.

Right now the Jets & Giants stink and nobody knows what to make of the Eagles.  Rutgers is...well I talked about them yesterday.

There’s a big high school football game Friday night as Point Boro hosts Lakewood with the winner likely to claim the Class B South title.  There’s an even bigger one next Friday as Toms River North visits Middletown South.  Maybe I’ll talk about that one day next week.

Time’s up.  feel like I just did a Seinfeld show on the radio.  A segment about nothing.
