ATLANTIC CITY — The Coast Guard rescued a 92-year-old man with possible cardiac issues from a fishing vessel on Sunday afternoon.

The man was on board the Fish Finder II five miles east of Atlantic City when the Coast Guard said the Atlantic City watchstander was notified.

A rescue boat was sent and brought the man to shore. An EMS crew reported he was in stable condition and brought to the Atlantic Care Medical Center in Atlantic City, according to the Coast Guard.

The man's identity was not disclosed by the Coast Guard.
