Bob O'Brien here. Happy birthday to Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, LITTLE ANTHONY. Anthony Gourdine is 77 today, and started his career with a couple of doo wop groups, the Chesters and the Duponts, before hitting it big with THE IMPERIALS. He had two very successful runs - one in the late 1950s with hits such as "Tears on My Pillow," "Two People in the World," "So Much," "Shimmy Shimmy Ko Ko Bop," and "Traveling Stranger," followed by a big comeback in the middle 1960s with "I'm on the Outside Looking In," "Hurt So Bad," "Goin' Out of My Head" and "Take Me Back." He still regularly performs and can still hit all those high notes. His favorite record - "Hurt So Bad." His least favorite - "Shimmy Shimmy Ko Ko Bop." He's 77, but still "LIttle" Anthony.
